An Interior Life

How is a map divided and used from a human perspective?

Whilst the starting point is the present, the historical and poetic show themselves through the gathing of data and information.

This is a presentation in three parts.

There is a dissected map of the parish. A composite version made up of 11 layers, which in some ways, this alone tells it’s own story.

There are the accompanying facts relating to the 11 individual sections, as well as data about human occupancy ~
for example, although probably not surprising, it’s interesting to learn ofthe lack of ethnic diversity in the parish, as well as the tiny percentage
of people working with the land.

Lastly, there’s a short soundtrack, a narration of the names of the housesand properties within the area. These share a historic, and perhaps romantic version of the parish.
